CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

1.1. Cancellation and Refunds of Subscriptions

When you cancel a subscription, you cancel only future charges associated with your subscription. You may notify us of your intent to cancel at any time, but the cancellation will become effective at the end of your current billing period.

Group Subscription billing cycles and terms of cancellations may differ and are governed by the terms set forth in the Group Subscription Purchase Order.

Digital products sold as part of a promotion may have different cancellation or refund policies that will be made clear at the time of purchase.

Cancellations are effective the following billing cycle. You will not receive a refund for the current billing cycle. You will continue to have the same access and benefits of your product for the remainder of the current billing period.

Monthly Subscriptions

Although we offer monthly subscriptions for the convenience of our subscribers, they present a tricky situation for Investmos™.   That’s because, even though some of our model investment portfolios change frequently throughout the year, others remain static throughout the whole calendar year.  Theoretically, a person could subscribe one month and cancel the next, but they could have access to and be able to benefit from, in any given month, the holdings of some portfolios for the whole calendar year.

We understand our Cancellation and Refund Policy for monthly subscriptions will not make everyone happy, but we tried to the best of our ability to strike the right balance between protecting the hard work that goes into crafting our model investment portfolios and giving subscribers flexibility in severing their business relationship with Investmos™.

To balance our own interests with the ability of subscribers to easily get out of their subscription, our policy is as follows:

  • When cancelling a monthly subscription within the first three months, monthly charges will continue until the end of the third month.
  • If you have held your monthly subscription for longer than three months, you can cancel your subscription at any time and all future charges associated with future months of your subscription will be cancelled. In other words, you may notify us of your intent to cancel at any time; your cancellation will become effective at the end of your current monthly billing period. You will not receive a refund; however your subscription access and/or delivery and accompanying subscriber benefits will continue for the remainder of the current monthly billing period.

Annual Subscriptions

When cancelling an annual subscription, all future charges associated with future years of your subscription will be cancelled. You may notify us of your intent to cancel at any time; your cancellation will become effective at the end of your current annual billing period. You will not receive a refund, prorated or otherwise, for the remainder of the annual term. However, your subscription access and/or delivery and accompanying subscriber benefits will continue for the remainder of the current annual billing period.

If you cancel your annual subscription and resubscribe within a 180-day period, the first-year subscription price will not be billed to you.  Instead, you will be billed at the rate consistent with a second-year subscription.

Changes to Content or Access

We reserve the right to make changes to our digital products at any time. If we temporarily reduce or eliminate the charge for content or access that you are currently paying for under different terms, you will not receive a refund.

If any or all of our digital products are temporarily unavailable, you will not receive a refund. We reserve the right to issue refunds or credits at our sole discretion. If we issue a refund or credit, we are under no obligation to issue the same or similar refund in the future.

Cancellations by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your subscription or product for any reason, with or without notice and without further obligation. You will not be entitled to a refund in these circumstances

1.2. Cancellation During Promotional Periods

Certain promotions may not permit cancellation during the promotional period. You agree to the cancellation and refund terms stated at the time of purchase.

1.3. Changing Your Subscription

You cannot change from one plan to another until the end of your current billing period and, with the Monthly Subscription, you must have been in the plan for at least three months before switching over to the annual subscription. When you change your subscription from the Monthly Plan to the Annual Plan, you will receive a pro-rated credit towards your new subscription (up until month 9; no credits offered in months 10, 11, or 12). The credit is applied to the second-year annual subscription price, not the first-year annual subscription price.
